In view of an upcoming major expansion, we are currently looking for a motivated
 

Working Student – for Automation Technology Development (m/f/d)

 
to work from our offices in Kirchheim unter Teck (near Stuttgart)


Principal tasks:
  • Familiarisation with the principles of automation systems (machine tools)
  • Development of automation technologies for production control
  • Software development for managing production facilities
  • Development of a digital twin technology with integrated 3D simulation (AnyLogic) and an optimisation algorithm (Dispatching Rules)
  • Agent model-based software development in AnyLogic
  • Development of Microsoft Power Platform software, Power Automate, Power App, etc.
  • Familiarisation with PLC software for developing a machine interface
  • Interface software development for use of new software with machines

Qualifications and experience:
  • University studies in the field of mechanical or electronic engineering, software or similar subjects
  • Initial experience in an industrial company
  • Experience in or knowledge of machine tools and automation software/systems an advantage
  • Enthusiasm for the machine tools industry and future technologies
  • Very good command of English
  • Interest in Japanese culture an advantage
