In view of a major expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious
Application Engineer Die and Mould - Milling (m/f/d)
located at our attractive European Headquarters in Kirchheim unter Teck (near Stuttgart).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Take the role as Technical Expert in which you advise end-users and our sales staff from a technical point-of-view
- Definition of processing concepts
- Selection of cutting tools, clamping devices
- Generation and optimization of NC-Programs
- Optimization of manufacturing processes
- Organize and perform Test Cuts for demonstrating MAKINO machine performance
- Execution of operator trainings to end-users
Your qualifications and experience:
- Degree in mechanical engineering discipline or apprenticeship with several years of work experience in similar position, in-depth knowledge in Die and Mould-making
- Practical experience in using 3 axis and preferably also 5 axis milling machines
- Proficiency in the use of CAM systems with good programming skills
- High level of motivation, confidence and assertiveness with excellent communication and team player skills
- Good command of English and German and willingness to travel across Europe
